Child Blessings

At Northwoods, we believe in raising up the next generation to know God and trust in Him. Child Blessings are a way for parents to seek God’s blessing while making a public commitment to raise their children according to His plan.

However, Child Blessings cannot impart grace or salvation. Salvation only comes through Jesus Christ, as each person recognizes his or her sinfulness and receives forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Blessings are meant for children under the age of 12. If your child is older than 12 and has made their own decision to follow Jesus, please consider our next Baptism opportunity.
