We all desire sexual integrity, whether it’s for ourselves or others, but sometimes we wonder where to start. At Northwoods, we know how hopeless this can feel, and that’s where the Pure Desire 101 course comes in. This 8-week video training is for anyone who wants to find freedom from the effects of unwanted sexual behaviors and betrayal and anyone who wants to learn how shame and grace affect the healing process. Pure Desire 101 will introduce you to the Biblical approaches for finding freedom. The course explores the neurochemistry of addiction, the impact of past experiences, and common pathways to healing. You’ll also learn about our other resources and support groups for ongoing recovery. This class will provide you with a foundation for lasting change through understanding both the spiritual and neurological aspects of sexual struggles.
